What is the format?
90-Minute Tournaments are meant to be FUN!
Teams will play 8 games in 90 minutes, with one minute between each game to get to the next court and a 4-minute break after game 4.
Games are 10 minutes each, using regular scoring.
Teams will be assigned a starting court according to combined rating.
Strongest teams will have to start at the bottom and work their way up.
If you win, you move up a court; if you lose, you move down.
The team that wins the final game on court one will be the gold medal winner, with silver going to the team that loses on court one.
Bronze will go to the team that wins the final game on court two.

This is an outdoor tournament with a non-covered playing area.
Six, surfaced hard-courts with non-permanent nets.
No food inside the courts, water bottles only. Food allowed in seating areas outside of courts.
Bathrooms and water fountain are located about 150m from courts.
There are multiple parking areas (see map below).
There is limited bleacher seating, so it is recommended you bring your own chair, and an umbrella if needed for sun protection.

Registration and refund policy
Registration is limited to 2 events per person. (You cannot register for more than one Mixed event.)
Registrants understand they are registering for their team and agree to pay the full amount owing at time of registration by proceeding through checkout.
Registrants who submit the registration form but do not continue through checkout will have their registration voided and will not be added to their chosen event(s) until payment has been made.
Registrants must provide partner name(s) when registering, and are responsible for communicating to their partners the details of the event and any subsequent event information from the tournament organizers.
Withdrawal of a registered team prior to July 22nd, 2025 will result in a refund of the total amount minus a $5 processing fee per event.
Please Note: Refunds will be processed after the tournament has completed.
Registration is by team. If you choose to register a team without having a partner, and still have not found a partner by July 22nd, 2025, you will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. If you are looking for a partner, contact us and we will do our best to help!
No refunds will be issued after July 23rd, 2025.
If your partner has to withdraw and you intend to find a new partner to replace them, please let the tournament organizers know who your new partner is as soon as possible.
Registrants understand the information submitted in the registration form, including phone number and e-mail, is for tournament communication purposes only and will not be used for any other purpose after the tournament has completed.
Registrants acknowledge that payments are processed through a third-party service (Stripe) and the financial information submitted during check out is not available to, or used by, the tournament organizers.
All registrants must be current members of Pickleball Canada, Pickleball BC, or be insured for tournament play through their local club. You can become a member of Pickleball Canada here.
If required, tournament organizers reserve the right to move teams into appropriate events based on the pool of registrants and official rating or assessed skill level.
Registrants understand there will be photography of the event and of the prize recipients for the organizers’ use, which may include, but is not limited to, posting to this site or sharing with the Cowichan Sportsplex and tournament sponsors.
If the tournament has to be cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, full refunds will be issued minus a $5 processing fee per person.
